Dr. Anne de Jong is assistant professor Conflict Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests center around social movements, radical human rights activism, militarism and violence. After obtaining her PhD on nonviolent resistance in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, she currently works on transnational activism in Bahrain and Brazil.
