Devin Stewart is Senior Program Director and Senior Fellow at Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. He also is a Truman Security Fellow and an adjunct assistant professor in international affairs at Columbia University and New York University. From 2010 to 2012, he was Senior Program Director at Japan Society in New York and from 2006 to 2010 he was Program Director and Senior Fellow at Carnegie Council. Previously, he was Assistant Director of Studies and Japan Studies Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and remained affiliated with CSIS until 2010. He is a contributing author to four books, including Reimagining Japan: The Quest for a Future that Works and Tsunami: Japan’s Post-Fukushima Future.
