Author profile: Don Anton

Don Anton is a leading international lawyer and a Professor of Law at the Australian National University College of Law. He will be taking up the Chair in International Law in 2015 at Griffith University Law School. Anton teaches, researches, and advises across the international law curriculum. He has been a repeat Visiting Professor at the University of Michigan Law School, the University of Alabama School of Law, and the University of Yangon Law Department. Anton has an active international legal practice. He has twice appeared as Counsel before the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and as amicus curiae before international human rights tribunals and the Supreme Court of the United States. Anton is active with various international law bodies. He is currently the Co-Chair of the American Society of International Law International Environmental Law Interest Group.
