Dr. Francesco Cavatorta is Senior Lecturer at the School of Law and Government, Dublin City University. His latest publication is the volume Civil Society in Syria and Iran, co-edited with Paul Aarts and published by Lynne Rienner. His current research focuses on the emergence of Salafism in Tunisia in the context of a wider research project supported by the Germany-based Gerda Henkel Foundation.
