Gabriel Siles-Brügge is Lecturer in Politics at the University of Manchester. His research and teaching interests sit at the interface of European and International Political Economy, where he focuses on issues relating to trade and development, the role of economic ideas in politics and responses to the Financial and Eurozone Crises. He is the author of the Constructing European Union Trade Policy: A Global Idea of Europe (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014) and of recent articles in the Journal of Common Market Studies, New Political Economy, the Review of International Political Economy and Contemporary Politics.
