Author profile: Jiun Bang

Jiun Bang (PhD) is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Nam Center for Korean Studies at the University of Michigan. Her research interests include International Relations (IR) theory, conflict and cooperation, and Northeast Asia. All three culminated into her most recent work in Foreign Policy Analysis, which examined the lexicography of inter-state partnerships in Asia and what those labels mean for normative power. She earned her PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2016.
