Richard W. Moodey, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Sociology and Anthropology, at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. He is currently the interim chair of the Department of Criminal Justice and Social Work, Gannon University in Erie, PA. In addition to his interest in sociological and anthropological theory, he is interested in the thought of Michael Polanyi and the Jesuit philosopher and theologian Bernard Lonergan.
