Professor Alisher Faizullaev, D.Sc., Ph.D., is a scholar who lives in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is the author of numerous books and articles on diplomacy and negotiation. His articles have appeared in “Review of International Studies”, “Diplomacy and Statecraft”, “Negotiation Journal”, “Process of International Negotiation – Network Perspectives”, “The Hague Journal of Diplomacy”, “Journal of International Relations and Development”, “Brill Research Perspectives in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy” and other journals. His last book is titled “Symbolic Insult in Diplomacy: A Subtle Game of Diplomatic Insult” (Leiden and Boston: Brill, 2018).
