Dr Lise Storm is Senior Lecturer in Middle East Politics and Director of Research at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter. She is the author of Party Politics and the Prospects for Democracy in North Africa (Boulder: Lynne Rienner, 2013), Democratization in Morocco (London: Routledge, 2007), and several journal articles on the state of democracy in the Middle East and North Africa.
