Nicholas Kyle Kupensky is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages at the United States Air Force Academy, where he teaches Russian and Foreign Area Studies. His research focuses on the aesthetics of industrial landscapes in Soviet Ukraine, and his work has appeared in Harvard Ukrainian Studies, Nationalities Papers, Ukrayina moderna, Muzeinyi vistnik, Slovo, and H-Ukraine.

Olena Andriushchenko is an award-winning international journalist from Dnipro, Ukraine, where she wrote for the newspaper Dnepr vechernii and was the director of the press centre and anchor of the talk show The Press Centre Reports at Open TV Media. She is currently the director of EA Global Media, where she produces the social media talk show The Ukrainian Dream and has contributed to Voice of America, Ukrainian People, and multiple regional and national Ukrainian news outlets.
