Richard Benda is a Rwandan academic and researcher. He is a Research Fellow at Luther King House College/University of Manchester. He holds a PhD in Religions and Political Life (University of Manchester), a Masters degree in Law (Kigali Independent University) and a Humanities Diploma in Latin and Modern Languages (Nyundo Catholic Seminary). His research interests are: Genocide studies, Political Theory, Philosophy of Religion and Oral History.
