Shaimaa Magued is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Aix and SciencesPo Paris respectively. She is a former Fulbright scholar (2018–2019) in the US and a Carnegie fellow at the University of Minnesota in 2015. She works on International Relations of the Middle East, Turkish foreign policy, Turkish-Arab relations, Social Movements and Mobilization.
