Dr Ashton Ng is Kuok Family–Lee Kuan Yew Scholar at the University of Cambridge and Assistant Professor in China Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He received his MSt in Traditional China (Distinction) from the University of Oxford and graduated top of his class from Peking University. Ashton served as a Young NUS Fellow at the National University of Singapore and was a Tan Kah Kee Scholar.
