Julien Pomarède is Associate Professor of International Politics at the University of Liège (Belgium). Prior to this position,  he has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Université libre de Bruxelles and the University of Oxford (Wiener Anspach Fellowship). He is now conducting an FNRS funded research project on the historical sociology of weapons in ground combat. My work has been published in academic journals such as the European Journal of International Relations, Security Dialogue, Review of International Studies, Critical Military Studies, Defence Studies, Cultures & Conflits and Critique internationale.
