Markus Schindler is the editor and publisher of the Mine Action Weekly newsletter. He is a mine action specialist who has led efforts across multiple countries to reduce the impact of explosive remnants of war (ERW), including in Ukraine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and the Philippines. He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from University College Cork and a Master’s Degree in Ethics – Economics, Law & Politics from Ruhr University Bochum.
