Author profile: Andrea Maria Pelliconi and Victor Kattan

Andrea Maria Pelliconi, Dr, FHEA, is an expert in public international law and a Lecturer in Human Rights at the University of Southampton, where she teaches international human rights law, international criminal law, and the law of the European Union. She writes about demographic engineering, forced displacement, and climate-related mobility. Andrea is collaborator to a British Academy-Leverhulme project on “Demographic Engineering and Apartheid in Western Sahara”.  

Victor Kattan, Dr, FHEA, is Assistant Professor of Public International Law at the School of Law at the University of Nottingham, where he teaches courses on public international law, international humanitarian law, and jurisprudence and legal theory. He is the author of five books on the Palestine Question and over thirty articles in leading law journals. Victor is the principal investigator of a British Academy-Leverhulme project on “Demographic Engineering and Apartheid in Western Sahara”.
