Edgar Andrés De la Cruz Rojas is a Yokot’an Indigenous person from Tabasco, Mexico. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Organizational Studies from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM). He was previously listed in the New Talents Register of the Consejo de Ciencia y Tecnología del Estado de Tabasco (CCYTET) and served as an Editorial Advisor for the journal Nota al Pie. He currently serves as the Secretary of Organization and Operation for the Proyecto de Extensión Comunitaria (PEC) at UAM and is a member of the Environmental, Economic, and Social Policy Commission (CPAES) of the Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (IUCN).

Manuel Lara Caballero holds a PhD in Public Policy from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He earned a Master’s degree in Social Economy from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, and a Bachelor’s degree in Administration from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Currently, he serves as a research professor in the Department of Social Processes at UAM Lerma. His research areas encompass the analysis, design, and evaluation of public policies, social inclusion, and economic measurement. He has published several books, scientific articles in indexed journals, book chapters, and outreach articles. He is a Level 1 member of the National System of Researchers in the Consejo Nacional de Humanidades, Ciencia y Tecnología (CONAHCYT).
