Atal Ahmadzai holds a Ph.D. in Global Affairs from Rutgers University and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of International Relations. He has a diverse educational background that geographically stretches from South and Southeast Asia to North America, which covers both Western and non- Western epistemologies. His research focuses on the thematic intersection of environment-conflict-development. His publications are in the areas of human development, global governance, environment, and terrorism.
