Cheyney Ryan is a senior fellow in the program in Ethics, Law, and Armed Conflict at Oxford University and a member of Merton College, Oxford. He previously taught at the University of Oregon where he founded the program in conflict resolution. He has written widely on the philosophy of war and peace, with a special interest in pacifism.
