Emma Murphy is a Professor of Political Economy at the School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University. Her current research focuses on youth, youth policy, women, and transport regimes. Her recent work has been published in Geoforum, Youth Policy, Transportation Research Procedia, and Mobilities. She was also a contributing author to the Routledge Handbook of EU-Middle East Relations (Routledge, 2022).
