Jan Daniel is a Researcher at the Institute of International Relations, Prague. In 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. in International Relations from Charles University. He studies the links between narratives of peace and security and their manifestations in local practices of peacekeeping and peacebuilding, as well as politics of security in Central Europe, Lebanon and Syria. He has published on the political sociology of peacekeeping and narratives of hybrid warfare.
